Lisa Schonberg

Lisa Schonberg is a PhD researcher in Electronic Arts at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a position held since August 2020. Since September 2004, Lisa has been self-employed as a composer, ecologist, artist, and writer, focusing on ecology, conservation, and soundscapes through various artistic practices, which include music composition, event organizing, and teaching. Previous experience includes a role as a Conservation Associate at The Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation from January 2007 to January 2008. Lisa holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Studies, with a focus on Myrmecology and Conservation Biology from The Evergreen State College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies (Ecology) and Percussion Performance from Binghamton University.
