Michael Wellner

Michael Wellner has extensive experience in leadership and management roles within educational and travel organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Past President of Quest Community for Lifelong Learning affiliated with City College of NY since June 2012, responsibilities include presiding over Board Meetings and developing strategies to attract new members. Additionally, Michael holds the position of Director of the Rensselaer Alumni Travel Program since January 2003 and has been involved with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in various capacities since 2003. Previous experience includes a Database Coordinator role at NYU Lifelong Learning Institute and leadership as President of both the RPI Alumni Chapter in Westchester and Kemwel Group Inc., a company specializing in leisure travel in Europe. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Management Engineering and dual Bachelor's degrees in Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the RPI Lally School of Management.
