Randy Stewart

Randy Stewart serves as the Associate Director of the Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, focusing on advising students and faculty in scientific and engineering disciplines on business opportunities. In addition, Randy holds a lecturer position within the Schools of Engineering and Science, teaching in the Division of Information Technology & Web Science. As a managing partner at The Colonie Group, Randy assists in bringing new technical solutions to market. Previous roles include membership on the Technology Council at O-I, chief executive officer of PlusEnerG Inc. and Prism Solar Technologies, and Entrepreneur In Residence at NYSERDA. Randy's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Organometallic Chemistry from North Carolina State University, postdoctoral studies at Harvard University, and a B.A. in Chemistry from West Virginia University.
