Vadim T.

Vadim T. currently serves as the Associate Vice President and Director of Public Safety and Emergency Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since June 2018, holding the position of Chief Facility Security Officer and Senior Official for the Insider Threat Program. Previously, Vadim T. had a distinguished career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from August 1995 to April 2018, culminating as the Special Agent in Charge of the Albany Field Office, where operational leadership was provided for counterterrorism, counterintelligence, criminal, and cyber investigations across New York and Vermont. Vadim T. began as a Special Agent conducting complex federal investigations and held various leadership roles. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Government from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Arts in International Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, a Master of Science from the U.S. Naval War College, and further education from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
