Avani Vaidya

Avani Vaidya has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Avani started their career at Capital One in 2001, where they worked as an MIS Analyst and Application Developer, leading software development projects to improve credit card transaction systems. Avani later became a Senior Project Manager and Process Engineer, implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize campaign execution. Avani also served as a Principal Process Manager, overseeing lending risk for the Auto Finance portfolio and managing credit risk governance initiatives.

In 2013, Avani joined Rent-A-Center as a Program Manager for the Enterprise Project Management Office, where they led labor transformation initiatives to reduce costs. Avani then took on the role of Senior Manager, Technology & Business Enablement for National Accounts, working on the deployment of rent-to-own within large, national retailers. Avani was promoted to Director, Portfolio Management - Strategic Initiatives, and eventually became the Sr. Director - Portfolio Management, Strategic Initiatives, responsible for driving strategic initiatives and portfolio management at Rent-A-Center.

Avani Vaidya holds a B. Bus degree in International Business and Information Systems from Edith Cowan University, which was obtained from 1996 to 1999. From 1999 to 2001, Avani pursued an MS degree in Applied Computer Science at Illinois State University.
