Kashmere Bates

Kashmere Bates is a skilled Geographic Information Systems professional with extensive experience in managing and analyzing geospatial data. Presently serving as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at Rent-A-Center since November 2024, Kashmere previously worked as a Geographic Information System Specialist at Arcadis, where expertise in ESRI-based software facilitated data management and quality assurance. Prior roles include serving as a GIS Technician at ADB Companies, Inc. and Atmos Energy, focusing on the organization and mapping of telecommunications and high-pressure line assets. Additional experience as an Outside Plant Engineer/GIS Specialist at Fujitsu and as a GIS Intern at the Dallas County Department of Homeland Security has provided a strong foundation in GIS data handling and project support. Kashmere holds a Master of Geoscience in Data Science from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from The University of Texas at Dallas.
