Daniel McMurtrie

Daniel McMurtrie is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the modular construction and legal sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Rent-A-Container since May 2023, Daniel founded the company in 2017, leveraging a nationwide network and an innovative logistics engine to provide competitive solutions in portable storage. Prior to this role, Daniel was the CEO and Co-Founder of VESTA Modular, which rapidly grew to become a leading modular building provider in the U.S. from its inception in 2014. Daniel’s career began in the legal field as an attorney at Jenner & Block, LLP, and includes significant leadership experience at Champion Home Builders as Vice President and General Manager. An alumnus of the University of Michigan and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Daniel holds degrees in Economics and Law.
