Charity S. has had a diverse range of work experiences. Charity started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Jiaxing Nanhu International Experimental School in 2010. Charity then went on to work as a Graphic Designer Intern at Jie Zhong Advertising Co. Ltd. in the same year. In 2011, they worked as a Researcher/Designer at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they focused on product identity for a major automaker in China. Charity also conducted competitor analysis and helped draft design principles for a new product line.

In 2012, Charity interned as a Designer/Strategist at Speck Design, where they worked on research and visual tasks for the industrial design team and clients. One of their notable projects included serving as a communication strategist for a telepresence system targeting the local market. Charity also worked on package design with 3M.

Charity interned as a Designer at s.point design in 2011 and as a User Experience Designer at Yahoo! in 2013. In 2014, they interned as an Interaction/Visual Design Intern at Siemens.
