Maja Borota - Nedic

Maja Borota-Nedic has an extensive work experience that spans over several companies, starting from 1995. Maja began their career as a Software Developer at the Institute for Computation, Measu & Control, School of Engineering Science, University of Novi Sad. From there, they moved on to Energosoft in Novi Sad, Serbia, where they served as a Software Developer.

In 2000, Maja joined Travel 2 as a Software Development Manager, holding this position until 2004. Maja then took on the role of Development Manager at BlueSky Travel Systems from 2005 to 2009.

Maja then joined Aquila Heywood in 2010 as a Development Team Leader and worked until 2013. During this time, they also held the position of Software Engineering Manager at Rentalcars.com from 2013 to 2017.

Their most recent employment is with Booking.com, where they have held various engineering roles. Maja started as the Head of Software Engineering in October 2017 and was later promoted to Director of Engineering in December 2019. Currently, Maja holds the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Booking.com as of August 2022.

Maja Borota-Nedic has demonstrated their expertise and leadership skills throughout their career in the software development and engineering field.

Maja Borota-Nedic completed their M.Sc. in Diploma of electrical engineering and computer sciences from Univerzitet u Novom Sadu between 1990 and 1995.
