Rafael Costa

Rafael Costa is a software engineer with experience in full stack development. Rafael started their career in 2018 as a Software Developer at Digital Innovation One, where they developed frontend and mobile applications with JavaScript (React.js and React Native with Redux), APIs with Python (Django Rest Framework), PostgreSQL for databases, Redis for caching, and RabbitMQ for queues. Rafael also worked with Git and Github for version control. Rafael participated in the development of a mobile application for electric scooters (Scoo Mobi) and the construction of the API. In 2020, they joined Rentbrella as a Software Developer, where they were responsible for the revitalization and maintenance of an app in React Native that was previously done in native (Android and Objective C). As a full stack developer they also worked with Ruby (Grape) for the backend, Node (with Fastify and Knex) and Python (Flask) for the lambdas. In 2021, they moved to XP Inc. as a Software Engineer | Frontend na IM+, and in 2022 they returned to Rentbrella as a Software Engineer.

Rafael Costa has a background in education and certifications. From 2017 to 2018, they attended ETEC - Escola Técnica Estadual de São Paulo, where they obtained a Técnico in Informática. In 2019, they began attending Universidade Paulista, where they are currently pursuing a degree in Análise e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas. Additionally, Rafael has obtained several certifications, including Curso React.js Ninja from Udemy in September 2019, Docker: Ferramenta essencial para Desenvolvedores from Udemy in March 2019, Criando poderosas API's RESTful com Django Rest Framework from Udemy in December 2018, and Desenvolvimento Web Full Stack from Global Labs Ventures in July 2018.
