Animesh Laghate

Animesh Laghate has a diverse work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Animesh started their career as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University in 2007. Animesh then worked at Ipsen as a Research Associate, where they developed and optimized HPLC methods and conducted in-vitro plate assays. Animesh then joined Abbott Bioresearch Center as a QC Associate Scientist before returning to Ipsen as a Senior QC Analyst. In this role, they developed UPLC methods and became proficient in using various analytical instruments. Animesh moved on to Baxter International Inc. as a Senior QC Analyst, where they focused on HPLC assays and acted as a subject matter expert in chromatography and spectroscopy. Animesh continued their career at Baxalta as a Principal Quality Lab Associate, leading assay validation activities and managing instrument and method validations. Animesh later joined Shire as a QC Manager, and then Emergent BioSolutions as a Senior Manager of QC-Analytical Development & Support. Animesh is currently the Director of Quality Control - Technical Services at Rentschler Biopharma SE. Animesh's experience includes assay development, validation, and qualification, as well as providing technical support, authoring documentation, and participating in audits.

Animesh Laghate holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Northeastern University, which was attained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their educational background, Animesh Laghate also holds a certification as an ASQ-Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) from ASQ - World Headquarters, obtained in June 2022.
