Farooq Baloch

Farooq Baloch is an experienced journalist and educator with a diverse background in development, economic, and business journalism. Currently serving as a Reporter at Reorg since July 2022, Farooq has previously held positions such as Editor at Samaa Money and Senior Correspondent at SAMAA TV. Farooq's academic contributions include roles as a Visiting Lecturer at the Institute of Business Management and Adjunct Faculty at Bahria University. Farooq participated in the Chevening Scholarships program as a South Asia Journalism Fellow in 2019. With a Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and additional qualifications from institutions including City, University of London, and the University of Westminster, Farooq combines practical experience with robust academic training in the field.
