Karen Leung

Karen Leung is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Senior Legal Analyst and Editor for the Americas Core Credit division at Reorg since November 2015. Prior experience includes roles as a Distressed Debt Legal Analyst and Junior Legal Analyst at Dechert LLP, where contributions were focused on the Bankruptcy, Business Restructuring, and Reorganization Group. Additionally, Leung has held positions as a Child Advocate at The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights, a Summer Associate at Dechert LLP, and a Kirkland & Ellis Public Interest Fellow at the National Immigrant Justice Center. Early career experiences involved internships at the Hong Kong Museum of Art and Materials for the Arts, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs. Leung earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School (2014) and a Bachelor's Degree in English & Comparative Literature and History from Columbia University (2010).
