Janu Mendel

Janu Mendel has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Starting in 2006, Mendel worked at Enterprise Holdings as a Branch Manager until 2012. From 2013 to 2018, Mendel served as the Director of Outreach & Engagement at Temple Beth Am. Mendel then joined the University of Miami Hillel as the Director of Engagement from 2014 to 2017. Currently, Mendel is working at Repair the World, where they started as the Executive Director for Miami from 2017 to 2021. Following that, Mendel became the Regional Director for the Southeast region from 2021 to 2023. Currently, Mendel holds the position of Senior Director of Community Impact at Repair the World.

Janu Mendel obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Political Science/Sociology from The University of the West Indies. This education was pursued from 2002 to 2005.
