Alex Perryman

Alex Perryman is a Senior Investigator in Computer-Aided Drug Design at Repare Therapeutics, a pharmaceutical company in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, focused on drug discovery for cancer, since August 2018. Previously, Alex held the position of Senior Scientist II in Computational Chemistry at Rutgers University-New Jersey Medical School from November 2013 to August 2018, where Alex was integral to the computational core of Associate Professor Joel S. Freundlich's lab. Earlier experience includes a role as Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute from August 2007 to November 2013, leading initiatives in drug design and molecular modeling. Alex's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from UC San Diego School of Medicine and a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where Alex graduated Summa Cum Laude.
