Ian Silverman has over 10 years of work experience in the field of bioinformatics and computational biology. Currently, they serve as an Associate Director of Bioinformatics at Repare Therapeutics, a position they have held since May 2021.
Prior to this, Ian worked at Incyte from 2018 to 2021, where they held two roles. From February 2020 to April 2021, they served as a Principal Investigator, overseeing patient selection strategies for clinical trials and supporting the NDA filing for cholangiocarcinoma. Ian also worked as a PhD candidate from May 2012 to September 2015, generating and analyzing RNA sequencing libraries, developing a novel sequencing methodology, and performing bioinformatics analysis for collaborative projects.
At PBG Healthcare Consulting, Ian worked as a Vice President and Project Manager from April 2013 to May 2015, leading a team of consultants and managing client relations.
Ian started their career as a Research Assistant in the Biofilm Research Group at the State University of New York at Binghamton from September 2008 to May 2010. Ian also worked as a Research Assistant at the Nanopore Physics Lab at the University of Washington from June 2009 to August 2009.

Ian Silverman completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Binghamton University from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell and Molecular Biology/Genetics and Gene Regulation from the University of Pennsylvania, a journey that spanned from 2010 to 2015.
