Welma Baer

Welma Baer, AAP, NCP, currently serves as VP of ACH Operations at REPAY - Realtime Electronic Payments, a position held since November 2016, with prior roles as Senior Director and Director of ACH. Responsibilities include managing and enhancing the enterprise ACH program, overseeing compliance, and ensuring adequate staffing and training within the ACH department. Previously, Welma held the position of Assistant Vice President and Deposit Operations Manager at Private Bank of Buckhead & Decatur, where policies and procedures for deposit operations were developed and enforced. Earlier experience includes working as an Operations Specialist at United Americas Bank and as a Paralegal/Office Manager at the Law Office of Chinwe Obianwu. Welma holds a J.D. from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Goiás, completed NACHA’s Payments Institute Master's Program, and has various certifications from the American Bankers Association and the American Institute of Banking.
