Santiago Christensen

Santiago Christensen has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Santiago is currently the Director of Engineering at RepeatMD, a position they started in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Engineering at Proportunity from November 2021 to October 2022.

Before Proportunity, Santiago held the position of Engineering Manager at Cloudbeds from September 2020 to November 2021. Preceding that, they worked at JOOR as an Engineering Manager from January 2018 to September 2020, and as a Lead Software Engineer from December 2016 to January 2018.

In their earlier years, Santiago served as a Senior Software Engineer at Sitch from September 2014 to December 2016. Santiago was responsible for managing and monitoring the Infrastructure hosted on AWS Cloud, developing APIs, backend services, and different services in Node.js, Python, and Dockerized microservices and applications.

Prior to Sitch, Santiago worked as a Lead Software Engineer at BigContacts from March 2013 to August 2014. Here, they were in charge of adding new features to the CRM application and integrating it with other platforms and social networks.

At Infobae, Santiago worked as a Software Engineer from April 2012 to March 2013. Santiago contributed to the development of tools used by the editors to publish content and implemented the Sphinx search engine to improve search capabilities.

Santiago's career started at Claro Argentina, where they served as a Software Engineer from July 2009 to April 2012. Santiago initially worked as a Network Analyst before transitioning to developing the company's Intranet using PHP, jQuery, and MySQL. During this time, they achieved CCNA certification and completed several CCNP courses.

Santiago Christensen pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Software Engineering from 2007 to 2014 at the Universidad de Belgrano. In addition, they obtained a certification in CCNA from Cisco in January 2010.
