Shiri Sarfati

Executive Vice President at Repechage

Shiri Sarfati has worked in the beauty industry for over 18 years. Shiri began their career as an Assistant Publicist at HWPR in 2001. Shiri then moved to Tractenberg & Co. as a Publicist, where they were responsible for pitching cosmetic brands to national and regional media outlets, and developed a week-long media campaign on FOX. In 2002, they joined Sarkli-Repechage, Ltd as Executive Vice President, where they presided over all marketing and PR efforts, managing a team of 6, as well as oversaw outside PR agency. Shiri developed new product launches and updated current products in conjunction with the Research and Development team, and sourced new product packaging and promotional materials. Shiri then moved to Vice President Sales and Marketing, where they worked with Distributor Sales Consultants and Regional Managers, as well as with Repêchage Brand Managers to increase sales in the territory through implementation of the Repêchage Business Plan. Shiri also opened and launched Repêchage Spa de Beauté Concept Spas, garnering regional and trade media attention. In 2013, they became an Adjunct Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology. In 2014, they became President of Markati Group LLC, a boutique firm that specializes in developing and distributing products and services and amplifying them through digital and direct marketing channels.

Shiri Sarfati obtained a BA in Political Science and Psychology from Columbia University in 2001. Shiri then participated in an Exchange Program at Sophia University in 2000. In 2007, they began attending New York University. In 2008, they obtained a Masters in Cosmetic & Fragrance Marketing Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Additionally, they hold a Licensed Esthetician certification from the State of Florida.
