Grace Yan

Grace Yan, CMA has over 16 years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on business partnering and forecasting. Grace is currently serving as the Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Repertoire Immune Medicines since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at 2seventy bio from November 2021 to January 2022. Grace has a strong background in the biotechnology industry, having held multiple roles at bluebird bio from December 2018 to October 2021. Grace'sresponsibilities at bluebird bio included leading annual budgeting and forecasting, as well as creating financial models to improve forecast accuracy. Before bluebird bio, Grace worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Insulet Corporation from August 2017 to November 2018, where they acted as a Finance Business Partner for U.S. Operations & Manufacturing. Prior to that, they served as a Plant Controller at Schaeffler from October 2013 to August 2017. Grace also gained valuable experience through internships at Carleton McKenna & Company, LLC, Newry Corp, Galileo Global Advisors, and INVEST GUANGZHOU earlier in their career.

Grace Yan, CMA holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, with a major in German Language and Literature and a minor in Legal Studies (International Economic Laws). Grace also obtained dual degrees, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science in Management – Finance, from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

In terms of additional certifications, Grace Yan has obtained the following: Biotech 101: The Science & Business of Biotech from MassBioEd Foundation in May 2019, IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in November 2020, Recorded Drug Development Immersion Master Course from Biotech Primer in November 2021, and CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) from Certified Management Accountant: CMA® in December 2018.
