William Ruff

Senior Scientist, Autoimmune Program Lead Early Discovery at Repertoire Immune Medicines

William Ruff has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. William is currently working at Repertoire Immune Medicines as a Senior Scientist and the Autoimmune Program Lead in Early Discovery. Prior to this, they were associated with Yale University School of Medicine where they held various positions including Instructor, Associate Research Scientist, and Neurology Immunotherapy Project Lead. William also worked as a PhD candidate at Yale University, specializing in Dr. Martin Kriegel's laboratory. Additionally, William participated in the Merck KGaA Biopharma Innovation Cup in 2016. William also served as the Treasurer and a part of the Steering committee at the Yale Graduate Student Assembly from 2014 to 2016. Before their time at Yale University, William was a Research Associate and Lab Manager at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, working in the laboratories of Dr. Lieping Chen and Dr. Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa.

William obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General from Loyola University Maryland between 2002 and 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biotechnology at The Johns Hopkins University from 2008 to 2011. William then continued their education at Yale University, where they earned a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Immunology from 2012 to 2015. William further strengthened their knowledge and qualifications by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology from Yale University, spanning from 2012 to 2017.
