Yaw Joseph Etse

Yaw Joseph Etse is a seasoned technology executive and investor with extensive experience in privacy and data engineering. Currently serving as Head of Privacy, Open Banking and External Data Sharing Engineering at Capital One since June 2023, Yaw is responsible for leading innovation in these critical areas. Concurrently, Yaw holds roles as an Angel Fellow at On Deck and as an Angel Investor in multiple startups, including Yemaachi Biotech and Finley Technologies, Inc. Formerly the General Manager of Lab Innovation at Invitae, Yaw has also served in various engineering leadership positions within the company. Additionally, Yaw co-founded and serves as CTO of Jewel ML, focusing on advanced AI and machine learning solutions. Educationally, Yaw has a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Behavior and Information Science from Cornell University and is currently pursuing dual Master of Science degrees in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering.
