Cynthia Reyes is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in biology, particularly in the study of telomeres and molecular biology techniques. Currently employed as a Scientist at Replay since January 2022, Cynthia previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies from September 2018 to August 2021, focusing on the enzymatic actions of telomerase. As a PhD candidate at Salk from September 2011 to July 2018, Cynthia researched replication stress at telomeres and developed new models for telomere length regulation while optimizing sequencing protocols in collaboration with Eton Bioscience. Additionally, Cynthia's academic background includes a Master of Science in Biology from California State University, Los Angeles, obtained between September 2009 and September 2011, where detailed work on genome-wide MyoD binding in muscle cells was conducted.
