Eoin McCarthy

Eoin McCarthy has worked in the technology industry since 2005. Eoin's career began as a Senior Software Engineer at Nortel, where they worked on telecommunications software development. In 2009, they joined Bravura Solutions as a Senior Configuration Management Engineer, where they were responsible for build systems and build automation. That same year, they also began working at messmo as Chief Technology Officer and Development Manager. In 2011, they became an iOS Developer at We Are Hunted, where they worked on iOS and Android development for Hunted and client apps. In 2012, they became a Founding Partner and CTO of Hydric, a first-class team of designers, developers and music fans. In 2020, Hydric was acquired by Icon Technology Studio, where Eoin became a Technical Director. Eoin is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Replica Studios.

Eoin McCarthy completed a Master of Science in Software Architecture from the University of Limerick in 2005, following a Bachelor of Computer Systems in Computer Science from the same university, which they received in 2002.
