Gary Thuro

Gary Thuro is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in marketing, sales, and business development within the renewable energy sector and other industries. Since October 2014, Gary has served as Chief Business Officer at RE+ Events, significantly contributing to the growth of the renewable energy industry. Previously, Gary held multiple leadership roles including Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Solar Energy Trade Shows, where net revenue was more than doubled and customer satisfaction improved. Gary also has experience as an Independent Consultant, supporting federal agencies and non-profits in marketing strategies, and spent over a decade at the United States Postal Service in various director-level positions, leading marketing initiatives that drove substantial sales and brand development. Gary holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from American University.
