Sheri Givens

Sheri Givens currently serves as President and CEO of the Smart Electric Power Alliance, a non-profit organization focused on promoting clean and equitable energy solutions among its over 1,000 members. Additionally, Sheri is a Co-Chair and Board Member of RE+ Events, which facilitates collaboration in the clean energy sector. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President of US Policy & Regulatory Strategy for National Grid, Executive Director of Utilities United Against Scams, and Public Counsel/Executive Director at the Texas Office of Public Utility Counsel. Sheri has held advisory roles at the U.S. Department of Energy and has served on the boards of ERCOT and Texas Reliability Entity, Inc. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin, among others.
