Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Shield Capital and Co-founder and CEO of a stealth startup, Joe's past roles include Board Member at Cambridge in America and GBx, as well as Joe's Majesty's Tech Envoy to the United States, where focus areas included UK/US tech policy and national security. Joe's entrepreneurial journey began as Co-founder and COO of Moonfruit, and as a former General Partner at Entrepreneur First, Joe played a pivotal role in startup development across multiple global locations. A committed investor, Joe has mentored numerous successful startups and served as Non Executive Director at The Behavioural Insights Team. Joe holds a BA/MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge and was educated at Westminster School.
