Kimberly Kleman

Kimberly Kleman is a seasoned journalist and educator with extensive experience in media leadership and academia. Currently serving as Executive Director at Report for America since May 2019, Kimberly has previously held senior roles including Senior Vice President and National Director. In academia, Kimberly has been an adjunct associate professor at Columbia University since January 2010, teaching courses in consumer journalism and investigative reporting. Kimberly's editorial expertise includes serving as Editor in Chief of The American Lawyer and Editor-in-Chief at Consumer Reports, where oversight included leading a top national magazine with a circulation of 3.9 million. Kimberly's early career included various reporting and editorial positions at the St. Petersburg Times and The Tampa Tribune, showcasing a robust foundation in journalism. Kimberly holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
