Tamara Chrisler has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Tamara began their career as an Assistant States Attorney at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office from 1993 to 1997. Tamara then went on to work at the Congressional Office of Compliance as the Executive Director from 2006 to 2013. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the administration of a Federal agency and managing an agency budget of approximately $4 million.
From 2018 to 2021, Tamara served as the Managing Director of Policy at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. Tamara then transitioned to the Democratic National Committee as the Counsel and Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion from 2021 to 2022.
Currently, Tamara is working at Reproductive Freedom for All. Tamara first held the position of Chief Diversity Officer from 2022 to 2023 before transitioning to their current role as Chief of Equity, Culture, and Talent in 2023.
Tamara Chrisler attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1986 to 1993. Tamara obtained a BA and JD degree during this time, with a focus on French Literature and Law.
