John A. Kutz, M.D. F.A.C.S., a native of Dallas, Pennsylvania, graduated from The University of Scranton where he studied Biology and Philosophy. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Sidney Kimmel Medical College, formerly Jefferson Medical College, of Thomas Jefferson University with several honors including AOA, and Excellence in Surgery. Dr. Kutz completed his surgical residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was recognized for excellence in resident teaching and research. Following his training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Dr. Kutz served as General Surgeon in the United States Air Force. He then returned to Pennsylvania where he completed a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
