Abdel Kader Mekki

Abdel Kader Mekki is a seasoned Senior Corrosion Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited since March 2017, and serving as Lead Corrosion Engineer at ConocoPhillips since March 2014, Abdel Kader has previously held key positions at Shell-PDO, where leadership included managing a corrosion team responsible for significant assets and implementing effective corrosion management strategies. With a strong background as a Senior Corrosion/Erosion Engineer at ConocoPhillips and DNV, Abdel Kader has specialized in corrosion management, testing, and evaluating integrity for major pipeline projects. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MSc in Corrosion Science and Engineering from The University of Manchester.
