Juan de Riva

Juan de Riva is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering and trading, currently serving as a Crude Oil Trader at Repsol since February 2020. Prior to this position, Juan held the role of Trading Analyst at Repsol, showcasing expertise in crude oil and heavy products trading. As the founder of MSSimulation, Juan launched a venture focused on simulation technologies. Academic contributions include a postdoctoral research fellowship at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, emphasizing international collaboration and funding in research, complemented by a predoctoral fellowship involving teaching and industry projects. Research experience extends to multiple collaborations with institutions like the University of Notre Dame, focusing on CO2 capture processes. Juan's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, along with a Master's degree in the same field from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
