Nikolay Khazov

Nikolay Khazov is a seasoned Reservoir Engineering Specialist at Repsol, with extensive experience in coordinating subsurface disciplines for mature heavy oil fields, optimizing waterflood projects, and supporting field operations. With a proven track record in reserves estimation and the coordination of multidisciplinary modeling activities, Nikolay has also held roles such as Subsurface Manager, Project Manager, and Reservoir Engineer, where responsibilities included strategic development, well testing implementation, and conducting uncertainty analyses. Prior experience at PDVSA Petroquiriquire involved petrophysical evaluations, reservoir engineering, and integrated field modeling, while earlier positions at Repsol YPF focused on technical and economic evaluations, reservoir simulation, and geomodelling.
