Ashly Benny

Ashly Benny has a diverse work experience in the education field. They have worked as a Head of FS2 and FS2 Teacher at Repton Dubai since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Capital School Dubai as an EYFS teacher and later as a Year 2 Teacher and Maths Champion. They also have experience as a Supply Teacher at Simply Education, VIPTutors.co, and Academics Ltd, where they worked with children of different age groups and in various classroom settings. Additionally, Ashly worked as a Year 1 Teacher at Berkeley Academy and as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, where they contributed to developing resources for early years teachers. They also served as an MSC Child Development & Education Course Representative at the Department of Education, University of Oxford, and gained hands-on experience at Victoria Road Children's Centre by shadowing and observing early years professionals and supporting local families.

Ashly Benny completed their A levels at St Nicholas Roman Catholic Sixth Form from 2012 to 2014. Ashly then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Primary Education with QTS at Durham University, graduating in 2017. In 2017-2018, Ashly attended the University of Oxford, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Education with a focus on child development and education. Continuing their education, they completed a degree in Teaching EFL/ESL Reading: A Task Based Approach at the University of London from 2019 to 2020, specializing in Elementary Education and Teaching.
