Christopher Higgins

Christopher Higgins is a Partner and Co-Head of the 3D Printing Practice at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, where Christopher has been since January 2019. In this role, Christopher serves as a patent litigator, representing clients in federal court, US Patent Office proceedings, and ITC Section 337 investigations. Additionally, Christopher is an Adjunct Professor at Penn State University, teaching Legal Issues in Additive Manufacturing in the College of Engineering's graduate program. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate and Co-Head of the 3D Printing Practice at Orrick from 2011 to 2018, and as an attorney at Jones Day focusing on intellectual property. Early career roles include positions as an Intellectual Property Summer Associate at Nixon Peabody, a Patent Strategist at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, and an Engineer at L-3 Communications. Christopher holds a JD from The George Washington University Law School and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
