Andy Barcus

Andy Barcus has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Andy started their career as a Network Manager at Augustana College in 1990, where they created the campus network called "AugieNet." Andy then worked as a Systems Analyst at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics from 1996 to 1999. In 1999, they joined Information Services USA as a Systems Engineer. From 2001 to 2002, they served as an Account Manager at Lantech of America. Andy then worked as an IT Analyst at MWABank from 2002 to 2005, where they managed servers and staff PCs and assisted in the development of IT policies. Following that, they worked as a Systems Engineer at MillerWrks from 2005 to 2008, where they provided IT support and maintained IT infrastructure. In 2008, they moved to Dealer Marketing Services and worked as an IT Operations Manager until 2016. During their time there, they also served as a Senior Systems Engineer from 2008 to 2012. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Vice President of Information Technology at Vibrant Credit Union. Currently, they are the Director of Information Technology at Republic Companies, starting from September 2017. In addition, they have volunteered for Habitat for Humanity in 2002.

Andy Barcus obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Augustana College in the years 1986 to 1990. Andy also holds additional certifications in various IT-related fields including Novell, Dell, GIAC, HP, and Microsoft.
