Matthew Leal

Matthew Leal has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Matthew began their career as a CMIS Student Technician at Texas A&M University in 2008. After that, they worked as an Associate Programmer at The Republic Group from 2009 to 2011. At Hoya Vision Care, they served as a Software Developer for six years, taking responsibility for various development tasks. Matthew then worked as a Senior Software Developer at Pacific Union Financial, LLC from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they joined BKD CPAs & Advisors as a Technical Lead for a brief period. Following that, they worked at ARIVE in different roles, including Lender Implementation Lead and Lender Implementation Manager. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Principal Software Engineer at Omnigo. Currently, they are working at Republic Finance as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Team Lead for backend .NET developers, with a focus on serving as the technical liaison for the originations line of business.

Matthew Leal obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, from 2005 to 2009.
