Edmund Tatar

Edmund Tatar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Edmund started their career as a Project Manager at Hewitt Associates, where they worked in Defined Contribution Services for three years. Edmund then joined American Airlines, initially as a Senior Financial Analyst before progressing to become a Principal in Corporate Development and ultimately a Manager in Airline Profitability and Financial Analysis. During this time, they analyzed the profitability of routes, developed models for projecting profitability, and evaluated aircraft types for fleet planning. Edmund then moved on to Republic Financial Corporation, where they worked as an Associate Director of Capital Markets in the Aviation & Portfolio Group, evaluating investment cases and negotiating debt and investment terms. Edmund later joined Frontier Airlines as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, where they performed financial analysis, developed a revised business plan, and represented the company in contract negotiations with labor unions. Currently, Edmund holds the position of Senior Managing Director at GMT Global Republic Aviation (Republic Financial Corp), where they are involved in acquiring commercial aviation assets on lease to airlines worldwide and overseeing the entire deal process.

Edmund Tatar completed their Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus on Finance and Strategic Management at The Wharton School from 1989 to 1993. Edmund further pursued their education at the Texas McCombs School of Business, where they obtained their MBA degree in Finance and Management between 1996 and 1998.
