Darren Bond

Darren Bond has a diverse work experience in finance, sales, consulting, and management. Darren is currently the Director of Finance at Republic National Distributing Company since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Sales Finance for New Mexico at the same company.

Before joining Republic National Distributing Company, Darren owned Gearing Up Bicycle Shop from December 2014 to January 2020. In addition, they provided financial consulting services to TankSat, a remote monitoring company, in San Antonio, TX, from March 2014 to October 2014.

Darren also gained extensive experience in the wine and spirits industry, working as a Financial Analytics Director at Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits from March 2011 to March 2014. Darren held the role of Director of Strategic Accounts at W.J. Deutsch & Sons from April 2010 to April 2011 and served as the Regional Manager for Texas at WJ Deutsch & Sons from November 2006 to March 2010. Prior to that, they worked as the State Manager for Texas & Louisiana at Ste Michelle Wine Estates from November 2005 to November 2006.

Before entering the wine industry, Darren operated their own consulting firm, D. Bond Consulting, from May 2003 to August 2005. Darren also served as the Director of Marketing and Strategic Development at Purveyor of Fine Wine from February 2003 to June 2004.

Darren's early career includes a role as a Region Manager at Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates from June 1999 to February 2003.

Darren Bond has a diverse education history. Darren first attended the New Mexico Military Institute from 1983 to 1987, where they earned their high school diploma. Darren then went on to study at Tulane University from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business, and Computer Science. Later, they pursued further education at Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business from 2001 to 2003, earning an MBA with a focus in Finance.
