Derek Ellis

Derek Ellis, WSET II, has over 15 years of experience in the beverage and retail industry. At Republic National Distributing Company since September 2016, Derek has progressed through roles including Business Development Manager for Florida Retail Chains, District Manager, and Sales Lead. Prior experience includes working at Whole Foods Market from May 2008 to September 2016 as a Wine Buyer and Food and Beverage Specialist, with a focus on wine, beer, and artisan cheese retail. Derek's career began at Domino's, where a tenure as General Manager of Store 3137 in Orlando, FL lasted from January 2004 to January 2008. Educationally, Derek earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Central Florida and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Valencia College.
