John E. Robinson Cism

John E. Robinson is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in data protection and application security. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Cybersecurity – Data Protection at Republic Services since October 2023, John reports to the CISO and focuses on safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior to this, John held various leadership roles at Intel Corporation from January 2009 to October 2023, including Senior Product Manager in Cybersecurity Incident Response and Senior Program Manager for Application Security & Asset Management, where responsibilities included managing teams to protect intellectual property and ensure cyber risk compliance for numerous applications. John has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the USC Viterbi School of Engineering.
