Phillip Johnson

Phillip Johnson is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in financial management and auditing across the waste management and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Business Unit Finance Manager at Republic Services, Energy Division since February 2015, Phillip has previously held significant roles such as Basin Controller at Tervita, where financial oversight for a $95 million acquisition was a key responsibility. Prior positions at Republic Services Inc., Allied Waste Industries, and Waste Management involved financial responsibility for various business units ranging from $45 million to $80 million in revenue. Earlier experience includes auditing roles with the Auditor of States Office and the TN Department of State Audit. Phillip holds a degree in Accounting from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, earned between 1987 and 1992.
