Anwaar AlMahmeed

Anwaar AlMahmeed is the current Managing Director at Republic. Prior to this, they were the Product Development Manager at Boursa Kuwait from June 2016 to October 2017. Anwaar has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at National Technology Enterprises Company from October 2015 to July 2016. AlMahmeed's first experience in the financial sector was as an Intern at State Street from February 2012 to April 2012, where they worked in the Financial Securities department. After their internship, they began working at Kuwait Investment Authority as an Assistant Investment Manager in the Hedge Funds Department, where they worked until May 2016.

Anwaar AlMahmeed graduated with a Bachelors in Finance from Kuwait University and then went on to get their Masters in Finance from the University of Southern California. Anwaar is also a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
