Laura Martins

Laura Martins is a seasoned professional with expertise in technical, scientific, and entrepreneurial fields. Currently serving as a Technical Expert to the Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion at República Portuguesa since August 2025, Laura also co-owns 360tour.pt, effectively managing a real estate brand that includes responsibilities in multimedia editing, client relations, financial oversight, and team development. Prior experience as a Data Scientist at CAIXA GERAL DE DEPOSITOS, S.A. involved executing comprehensive data science workflows and collaborating within Agile teams. Laura completed a Master Thesis on Alzheimer's disease at Laboratoire de recherche en neuroimagerie, utilizing advanced statistical and machine learning techniques. Previous roles include neuromachinery research and contributions to various biomedical and neuroscience projects, alongside a brief stint as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist. Laura holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa and has a foundational background in music education.
