Pedro Reis

Pedro Reis currently serves as Ministro da Economia for República Portuguesa since April 2024. Prior to this role, Pedro Reis was a member of the advisory board at Banco Português de Fomento from January to March 2024, and held the position of Vice President of the Strategic Council for External Investment at CIP - Confederação Empresarial de Portugal from August 2023 to March 2024. Additional roles include member of the Supreme Council at Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa, President of the General Assembly at S.D.M. - Sociedade de Desenvolvimento da Madeira, S.A., and President of the Advisory Council at the Conselho da Diáspora Portuguesa, all from July 2022 to March 2024. Pedro also worked as a Senior Advisor & NED at Strategic Consulting & Senior Advisory from February 2022 to March 2024, along with significant experience at Millennium bcp from May 2014 to January 2022, where various leadership roles included Head of Institutional Banking. Educational background includes a licenciatura in management and business administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, strategic finance studies at Harvard Business School, and an AMP from INSEAD.
