Dr. Ed Shoemaker, PhD, is an accomplished mental health professional and community leader with extensive experience in counseling and political involvement. Currently serving as the Secretary of the SCM SCW Caucus and Chair of the Congressional District 15 Caucus for the Republican Party of Florida since January 2021, Dr. Shoemaker also holds roles as an Elected Polk County Republican State Committeeman and Independent Contractor Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Adoption Related Services of Pinellas, where the focus is on enhancing adoption success and parent-child attachment. As the Founder, President, and CEO of Mr. Eds Circle of Trust Inc. since 2006, and with a background on various boards including the Children's Home Society of Greater Lakeland, Dr. Shoemaker combines a rich academic foundation in psychology and biblical counseling with a commitment to community service and leadership.
