Jason Leung has a diverse work experience. In 2020, they worked as a Battery Engineer for RePurpose Energy and as a Research and Development Intern, developing a neural network to predict the state of health of recycled electric batteries for second life usage as energy storage units. In 2019, they were a Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis Green Technology Lab, taking part in the development of new battery testing methods and writing algorithms for predicting the state of health of second life lithium-ion battery packs. In 2018, they were a Lead Science Instructor at Camp Galileo and a Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis Integration Lab, researching new methods in Linkbots, Arduino and Raspberry Pi to use robotics and coding as an educational tool for K-12 schools.
