Lane McShane JR. is an experienced litigation analyst currently serving in the Major Case Unit at Repwest Insurance Company since February 2021. In this role, Lane acts as a liaison for third-party legal counsel, managing schedules, processing invoices, drafting summaries, and handling incoming subpoenas. Previous experience includes serving as a Special Investigator, where Lane focused on insurance fraud investigations and oversight of investigators, achieving significant results while adhering to ethical standards. Prior to Repwest, Lane worked at U-Haul International, Inc. in various capacities, including Redistribution Specialist and Citations and Stolen Equipment Specialist, where responsibilities included inventory management and coordination with law enforcement. Lane's early experience includes volunteering at Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona. Lane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History from Arizona State University.

Repwest (Formerly Republic Western) Insurance Company is a property and casualty insurance company domiciled in Arizona. We have been in business for over 45 years. Our parent company is AMERCO, which is also the parent company for U-Haul Int’l. Repwest provides insurance policies for U-Haul, U-Haul’s customers and dealers. In addition Repwest provides insurance programs for the self-storage industry independent of U-Haul. Repwest also provides loss adjusting and claims handling for U-Haul through regional offices across North America. The claims division consists of 5 Regional Claim Offices and several support departments, such as SIU, Subrogation, Desk Review Program, and Central Reporting. The entire claims division and support staff consists of approximately 200 people.
