Yan Chen

Yan Chen is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in high-performance computing and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior HPC Engineer at Rescale since August 2019, Yan Chen has played a key role in enhancing user experience and profitability through the development of microservices and internal tooling. Prior experience includes roles as HPC Engineer at Rescale, an intern at Apple, and a Mechanical Engineer at KaVo Kerr, where Yan Chen focused on product design and optimization. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Computational Fluid Dynamics and a Master’s degree from the University of Louisville, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from the North China Institute of Water Conservancy and Electric Power.
