Mike Steffes

Mike Steffes is a seasoned Senior Web and Database Developer with over 20 years of experience in database architecture and programming. Currently employed at Rescar/AllTranstek since August 2002, Mike has successfully converted 30 Access database systems to Oracle and serves as an Oracle DBA. Previous experience includes roles as a Business Analyst at Universal Access, where Mike translated business requirements for telecommunication circuits into technical documentation and developed a Java/Oracle SaaS solution, as well as an Oracle Developer at Classified Ventures focused on database changes for homes.com and cars.com. Mike also held positions as a Senior Consultant at 2mc and a Process Engineer at Motorola, where Mike employed Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing processes. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
